The New Plan

Hey everyone. After much discussion and also involving TMG we have decided to come to the following changes to the mud: Novelty items is a new feature here at 3scapes and will be incorporated through NFT's so they will be yours to own permanently. We will use 'OpenSea', which is the world's largest NFT marketplace. Unique gear will also be added to the NFT list but they will be reset every boot. This opens up for transactions so that you can buy gear off of each other after boot. If you ever wanted to be a professional mudder, here's your chance! Coins will be removed and instead we will introduce a cryptocurrency called 3s Coinz. It will be backed through the ethereum blockchain, so anyone who wants to mine 3s Coinz is allowed to do so. More information on this and exactly on how to do it will be presented in a later announcement. We're finally changing interface for communication. Gone will be the days of telnet limitations and instead we will open a Web3 interface for everyone to run the mud through a web-browser. The client is in beta-testing and we will start inviting people in to it next week. Unfortunately this means that you can no longer use your own mudclient or scripting and any type of automation on the mud will be completely illegal. We're adding microtransactions for completing quests! You will no longer be needing to solve the hard riddles or go through and explore rooms and read interesting room descs. Instead you only have to pay $10 for each QP the quest is worth and you will get it completed. We are with this increasing the power of all hmpowers to be 10 times more powerful and with instant reset times!! Woop! Finally the power we all have been waiting for!! Finally, the Big Reset! Everyone will restart at level one but will get novelty items for being here at the time of the big reset. Your novelty items will depend on how much time and xp you have. Your gobj will also be completely reset. Please keep the discussion of these changes off of the gossip or shout line until tomorrow, April the second. Thanks, Simon & Skuggis
