facts and fiction

  Might be helpful to separate a few facts from fiction so...
 
  Fiction: I bought 3s
  Fact: 3s was, is and will always be property of The Marble Group. As such 
  they have final say in everything. Also any and all VAFs go solely to the 
  Marble Group and no one else at all. 
 
  Fiction: Rumor, Oberon, and Markar would not be part of the decision making 
  progress of 3s. 
  Fact: All three would have retained their roles, their creative freedoms, 
  and their freedom of speech. The only change would be me having a decisive 
  vote/say in matters needing one. Obviously the Marble Group has always had 
  and always will have the final say on decisions regardless. Rumor, Oberon, 
  and Markar have contributed a tremendous amount of dedication, effort and 
  time to 3s and there will always be an enormous debt of gratitude towards 
  them. They are always welcome here. 
 
  Fiction: 3s will become like 3k.
  Fact: 3s will NOT become like 3k. It's unique nature (for example faster 
  gxp rates, unlimited alts, different guild development to name but a few) 
  will be preserved and continued. 3s will remain the port which is more 
  suited and caters more to the casual player. 3k's unique aspects (such as a 
  dungeons, scripting allowed, and eternal powers) are and will remain unique 
  to 3k. 
 
  Fiction: Dawn was unjustly jailed.
  Fact: Dawn was jailed for his uncalled for outbursts on the gossip line 
  where he directly, needlessly and abusively wished RL harm to Rastafan and 
  his family who are currently battling with serious medical issues. There s 
  never any excuse for such behaviour and it will never go unpunished. 
  Furthermore, as a minor offense, he also purposely created deathtraps in 
  Aegis (which resulted in Kortor's death). 
  When and if Dawn apologizes to Rastafan, then his sentence will be 
  re-evaluated. 
 
  Fiction: My players chars have in the past gotten away with douche 
  behaviour (for example creating mob deathtraps, abuse of hooligan 
  profession) 
  Fact: They have been punished for it both in jail times & smitings and with 
  the earned scorn of other players. There are records to that effect which 
  cannot be doctored in any way. 
 
 
  To conclude - everyone has the choice of whether to make a decision based 
  on facts, on emotions, or on fiction/hearsay. On acting from gut feeling or 
  waiting to see how things develop. Thats up the the player. Perhaps the one 
  thing to keep in mind is careful who you listen to... the rcords of Isa, 
  who is admittedly excellent at feigning innocence and self-righteousness 
  start like this:

  followed by numerous entries the last of which is:

  a lot like a full-fledged bot.  If you are manually advancing between 
  fights, do be sure to pay some attention to the screen while doing so.
