Village of Alma

  The village of Alma was once renowned for the quality of fruit that came 
  from its orchard. For some time now, however, the village has fallen on 
  hard times. Yields have been bad - either in terms of quantity, quality, or 
  both - and business has dried up. 
 
  However, that's suddenly changed. The fruit coming out of the village now 
  is the best it's ever been. Some say it's too good to be true, and a few 
  even wonder if everything is as it seems. Additionally, the village has 
  become more and more xenophobic and isolated since this change started. 
  What could be happening?
