Multiple Characters

General

Multiple characters (played by the same human) on 3S are ILLEGAL until
you reach level 30, at which point you are allowed one extra character
which MUST BE REGISTERED using the 'spawnsecond' command.

Once your legal second character has reached level 30, you are allowed a
legal third. This too must be registered using the spawnsecond command.
You can repeat this process each time another of your characters reaches
level 30 for an unlimited number of additional characters. If any one of
your characters reaches level 100, you get an extra allowed character.
Also 'vaf xchar' can be purchased to give you more.

To assist you registering, please read 'help spawnsecond'. You may use
the command 'spawnsecond' to check how many characters you have and
how many you have available.

Keep in mind that only your primary character, generally the
original one, can use the spawnsecond command.

Standard punishment for dealing with illegal characters is removal of
(at least) the highest level character. Often times, abuse will cause
all to be removed. Similarly, if you have an additional character that
is not registered, it will be dealt with as above.

Login of multiple characters within the same reboot follows the below rules:

  1) You cannot login a character when the "other" is already logged in.
I.e. You can swap them out freely, but not play them at the same time
  2) Linkdead characters are considered to be "logged in"

Some standard rules about your other characters:

 * Other players will not know if you have multiple characters, but
all titled wizards do. So don't screw around. Anything that one of
your multiple characters does can be used against your main character,
especially bug abuse, harassment, etc. Most likely, the highest of
your characters will be dealt punishment, and the lowest wiped.
You may even lose your privilege of having multiple characters, ever.

 * Along with the above rule, nobody has the right to ever ask you
who your other characters are. A titled wizard will never ask
because they can already find it out for themselves. Nobody else
can, so nobody else can ask.

Note: This protection doesn't mean much if you blab the secret
to anyone, even friends. Tell one person and they'll probably let
it slip somewhere down the road. Simply put, if you don't want
people to know your other characters, then don't tell a soul.

 * All rules still apply to your other characters. This may seem
obvious but some people need things spelled out for them.

 * There are probably more things, they will be added as we come up
with them. Ignorance of the contents of this file is not a valid
   excuse for breaking the rules.
